We are offering Agriculture Lime Powder to our clients. Agricultural lime, also known as
aglime, agricultural limestone, garden lime, or liming material, is a soil additive made
from pulverized limestone or chalk. The primary active component is calcium carbonate,
while additional chemicals may vary depending on the mineral source and may include
calcium oxide.
Unlike quicklime (calcium oxide) and slaked lime (calcium hydroxide), powdered limestone
does not require lime burning in a kiln and only requires milling. These types of lime are
commonly used as soil conditioners, with the primary purpose of correcting soil acidity.
Today, lime used for farm fields is most often crushed limestone due to its effectiveness
and ease of application.
