Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) powder is an inorganic filler that’s commonly used in the rubber
industry to improve the properties of natural and synthetic rubber:
- Strength: Increases tensile, abrasion, and tear resistance
- Flexibility: Maintains flexibility and improves resistance to torsion and traction
- Consistency: Can improve consistency
- Aging: Diminishes rubber aging and material fatigue

Calcium carbonate powder can be used in a variety of rubber products, including small
